19 year old suspected burglar apprehended in Ogun, stolen items recovered The Ogun State-owned Security Outfit codenamed So-Safe Corps has arrested a 19-year-old man, identified as Abiodun Elegbede for breaking into a church and two other houses at Ago Araromi Community, Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun State.    The suspect was arrested following a distress call received by the Corps for prompt intervention.    In a statement released, So-Safe's Commander in Ogun state, Soji Ganzallo, said that the Corps at about 2am on Thursday, 26th January, 2023 received a distress call requesting a prompt intervention following the incident.    "The suspect who was alleged  of burglary at Ago Araromi Community, Ilaro,Yewa South Local Government Area was arrested after he burgled a Church and two different houses by the Ilaro Divisional Patrol Team led by the Divisional Officer SC Ojenride Wasiu. 19-yr-old boy, two others arrested for allegedly abd¥cting his 6yrs old cousin and demanding N2m ransom in Kastina  The Katsina State Police Command has arrested a 19-year-old boy, Abdulrazak Ibrahim, for allegedly masterminding the abd¥ction of his six-year-old cousin in Bachirawa quarters, Kano State. The suspect was arrested alongside his accomplices, Aliyu Salisu, aka Chilo of Sabuwa Unguwa quarters and Mohammed Ibrahim, aka Zalamo of Gidan Dawa quarters, both 19.  They were arrested on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, around 5 pm following credible intelligence. The Command's spokesperson, Isah Gambo, in a statement on Wednesday, said: “Nemesis caught up with the syndicate when they kidn@pped their victim, Fatima Abubakar, age 6, of Bachirawa quarters, Kano state, on January 6, 2023, at about 1100 hrs and whisked her to Katsina state, where they demanded N2million ransom. Operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command have arrested a 40-year-old man, Nuhu Umar Usman, for culpable homicide.   Spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, in a statement on Thursday, January 5, said Usman, of Dangarfa village in Kyata Burra District, shot dead his first wife, Ladi Nuhu, after mistaking her for an intruder.   According to the PPRO, there was an altercation between the suspect's two wives and his eldest son, who held a grudge against him and had threatened to harm him.    This made the suspect load his dane gun and keep it beside him throughout the night waiting for the intruder, possibly his eldest son.    Wakil said the deceased had gone out of the room to ease herself and was on her way back when the husband woke up upon hearing a suspicious move close to his room.    He picked up the loaded gun and directly fired at her in the stomach.
